The London School of Economics (LSE) invites talented students to apply for the 2025 ESRC Studentships. Covering full tuition fees and providing a stipend, these awards support research-focused master’s and PhD studies. International applicants are welcome, though there are limited spots for overseas students.
To be eligible for the ESRC Studentships at LSE, applicants must be pursuing an MSc, MRes, or MPhil/PhD program in one of the 19 eligible departments. Candidates must submit a research proposal for the PhD component and express their interest in ESRC funding within their personal statement. • Indicate the desire to be considered for ESRC funding in their personal statement.

How to Apply
There is no separate application for the ESRC Studentship. Candidates must submit their application for the MSc, MRes, or MPhil/PhD program by the following deadlines:
• Departments of Economics and International Development: 18 December 2024
• All other departments: 15 January 2025
