The University of Ottawa offers this scholarship to provide financial assistance to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and those with protected or refugee status who were a victim, spouse or child of a victim, of the tainted blood tragedy in Canada between 1980 and 1989, inclusively. Applicants must be enrolled (full or part time) in a postsecondary program in a recognized Canadian institution, have good academic standing and demonstrate financial need.
