Zhengzhou University Scholarships for International Students, China Established in 1956, Zhengzhou University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Zhengzhou (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Henan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education, Henan Province, Zhengzhou University (ZZU) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. Zhengzhou University (ZZU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. The admission rate range is 40-50% making this Chinese higher education organization a averagely selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The students are required to apply online and enrol themselves in their desired degree. After that, they can apply for this award.
  • Supporting Documents: The students will have to submit the following documents to the university:
  • Certified certificate or a notarized copy of the highest diploma
  • Original transcripts of the previous study
  • A study plan or research proposal
  • Two recommended letter in Chinese and English
  • Copies of physical examination records
  • No criminal record proof
  • Letter of authorization for applicants below 18
  • Admission Requirements: Aspirants have to fulfill the entry requirements of the university
  • Language Requirement: Students must have to meet the following requirements:
  • For programs instructed in Chinese, applicants should be proficient in the Chinese language, with an HSK test report.
  • For programs instructed in English, applicants of non-native English-speaker should provide their IELTS or TOEFL test reports.
  • For programs instructed in English, applicants from English-speaking countries must provide English scores.
  • For admission to Chinese language programs, applicants must not have prior knowledge of the Chinese language.
