York School of Architecture Fully Funded PhD Studentship, UK Established in 1963, The University of York is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of York (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Yorkshire and the Humber.   • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all nationalities (UK, EU, and International).
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for PhD research in architecture, sustainability, environmental design, construction management, or related disciplines offered by the University of York.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Hold a strong academic background (first-class or upper second-class honours degree) in architecture, engineering, environmental science, data science, or related fields.

  • Demonstrate interest or experience in sustainability, life-cycle analysis, or modular/timber construction.

  • Be willing to undertake fieldwork and regular travel to Canada as part of the research.

  • Meet the University of York’s admission requirements for PhD study and English language proficiency (if applicable).
