Funding administered by the Royal College of Physicians for outstanding undergraduate students at selected medical schools who are likely to pursue a medical research career. These awards enable students to take a one year intercalated programme part way through their medical course. This award provides a grant of up to £5,000 and has three places available.

Wolfson Intercalated International Awards at University of Leeds, UK Founded in 1904, University of Leeds is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Leeds (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Yorkshire and the Humber. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Leeds is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Leeds offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Applications are coordinated and submitted through the LIME Office, Level 7, Worsley Building – Students DO NOT apply directly.
The Director for Intercalated Studies, can offer advice on the application process and will assist any nominee with their application. In the event of more than 3 students being put forward, the 3 strongest students and projects will be selected.
