Western University PMA Dependents’ Tuition Scholarship Plan (2024–2025) Founded in 1878, Western University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of London (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Ontario, Western University is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Western University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 141 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a dependent child of a current, regular full-time PMA-eligible employee at Western University

  • Dependent status:

    • Unmarried, financially dependent, under age 21 (or under 25 if enrolled full-time; or older if permanently infirm)

  • Must be enrolled in full-time studies (undergraduate or graduate) at Western University or one of its affiliated colleges (King’s, Huron, Brescia)

  • Must meet academic standards:

    • Required to achieve a minimum 70% average in the previous academic year

    • For programs without grades, a written confirmation from the Dean is required translating performance to a 70% equivalent

  • Must remain fully registered throughout the academic year (September–April)

  • Download the PMA Dependents’ Tuition Scholarship Plan application form from Western University’s Registrar or HR website.

  • Complete the application and gather required academic documentation.

  • Upload the full application (in PDF format) via Western’s secure DocDrop under “Employee Group Scholarships (Dependent Tuition Scholarship).” 

  • Application Deadline: June 30, 2025 — this deadline is strictly enforced
