The Wendy Newman Library Leadership Award provides recipients with financial support to attend intensive library leadership development programs, enabling them to enhance their leadership skills and contribute effectively to the library profession.
Application Process
Interested candidates should submit a complete application package including:
- Completed application form
- Written statement (maximum 2 pages) outlining how participation in the program would enhance leadership capacity and benefit career progression
- Current resume or CV
- Letter of recommendation from employer, addressing leadership potential and interest in advancing within the library field
- Proof of acceptance into the leadership program
