The WARC Travel Grant aims to foster intra-African academic collaboration by supporting West African scholars and graduate students in conducting research visits across the continent. It provides funding to cover travel costs (up to $1,500) and a stipend of $1,500. The grant enables researchers to access libraries and archives, collaborate with colleagues at African institutions, or conduct field research at sites within Africa. The program is funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, through a grant from the Council of American Overseas Research Centers.
