Vida Stout International Scholarship at University of Canterbury in New Zealand, 2020 for PhD Established in 1873, University of Canterbury is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Christchurch (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Canterbury. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, New Zealand, University of Canterbury (UC) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Canterbury (UC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: PhD degree program in the areas of limnology or environmental science, preferably of the South Island.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible for the funding, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Must have a previous year degree.
  • Applicants studying limnology will be given preference.

Offered Benefits

All eligible candidates will receive the award of $16,000 per annum for a doctoral degree program at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
