Roehampton University is offering fully funded PhD Studentships in Psychology. Funding is available for UK/EU and International students at Home/EU rates for three years full-time study.

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and its functions. University’s aim is to help students to learn about themselves and others by studying how the human mind works and how it affects behaviour.

The University of Roehampton, formerly Roehampton Institute of Higher Education, is a public university in the United Kingdom, situated on three major sites in Roehampton, south-west London.

Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Vice Chancellor’s PhD Studentships in Psychology at Roehampton University in UK, 2017 Founded in 2004, University of Roehampton is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Roehampton (UoR) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Roehampton (UoR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 15 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible, applicants should hold a first class or upper second class honours undergraduate degree (or equivalent international qualification) and a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a related subject. The successful candidate should be available to start on 1st January 2017 or earlier.

Offered Benefits

Funding is available for UK/EU and International students at Home/EU rates for three years full-time study. The Bursary includes the tuition waiver for PhD at UK/EU fees and stipends at £16,057.
