Vice Chancellor’s Mainland China Scholarship at the University of Dundee, UK Established in 1967, University of Dundee is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Dundee (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Scotland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Dundee is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Dundee offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.   • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:

  • Applicants hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.
  • They reside in China, as highlighted in the country list above.

The University of Dundee will award the winning candidates a scholarship valued at £4,000 per year of study to a maximum value of £20,000 to applicants living in mainland China to attend full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply for the scholarship, the applicants need to be admitted to the university’s undergraduate or   postgraduate degree program. There is no separate application form for this scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Photo ID
  • Nationality proof
  • Academic qualification certificate
  • Admission Requirements: All applicants must complete the relevant  entry requirements for admission to their preferred program.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 7.0
  • PTE – 76
  • Trinity ISE – ISE III Merit
  • Language Cert SELT –C1 Pass
