Royal Agricultural University (RAU) is pleased to introduce the Vice-Chancellor’s International Bursary, designed to ease the accommodation costs for new MSc, PGDip, and MBA international students.

The bursary program is open to new, full-time international students enrolling in MSc, PGDip, and MBA programs starting in January 2025. Applicants must be fee-paying, meet RAU’s academic and visa requirements, and have an offer of admission. The bursary applies exclusively to on-campus, shared, catered accommodations.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to international students
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The bursary is available for MSc, PGDip, and MBA postgraduate programs offered by RAU
  • Admissible Criteria:
    • Applicants must be new, full-time, international fee-paying students starting in January 2025.
    • Students must meet or exceed academic entry requirements (including visa requirements).
    • Applicants must have received an offer from RAU for a course starting in January 2025.
    • The bursary applies to on-campus shared, catered rooms only, which include breakfast and dinner daily.

Offered Benefits

  • The bursary provides financial support by reducing on-campus accommodation costs by £1,752, requiring students to contribute £4,900 for the year.
  • This support is valid for one academic year only.

Additional Information

  • Students who withdraw, change accommodation, or leave RAU early will lose their bursary entitlement and be liable for the full, pro-rata remainder of any fees.
  • The Vice-Chancellor’s International Bursary can be applied alongside the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship.
  • Successful applicants will be notified in writing within two weeks of the decision.
