UWM Undergraduate International Student Scholarships in USA for Bachelor Founded in 1885, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Milwaukee (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Wisconsin. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 134 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this US higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants need about average high school grades to get into UWM. The average high school GPA of the admitted freshman class at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee was 3.09 on the 4.0 scale, indicating that primarily B students are accepted and ultimately attend.
  • Candidates must have high school certificates with a good academic record.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will provide up to $5,000 per academic year to the successful candidates.
