Academic Merit International Scholarship South Asia is now open for the academic session 2025/2026 at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Eligible students can receive 15% tuition fee support for full-time on-campus study at UTS Sydney. Academic excellence is the key selection criterion.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be citizens of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka and meet all admission requirements for a UTS undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program. They must commence full-time, on-campus studies in Sydney and remain international students throughout the course.

UTS Academic Merit International Scholarship South Asia, Australia for Bachelor Established in 1965, University of Technology Sydney is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Sydney (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), New South Wales. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship applies to any UTS undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program (except online or distance degrees).

  • Admissible Criteria:

    • Must remain an international student (not an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident).

    • Must meet all admission requirements for the selected UTS program.

    • Must commence full-time, on-campus studies in Sydney.

    • Must not be enrolled in an online or distance degree.

    • Must not be a recipient of any other UTS scholarships, grants, UTS Alumni Advantage Program benefits, or a government-sponsored student.

    • Selection is based on academic merit (high school or equivalent for undergraduate applicants; latest qualification, GMAT, or GRE for postgraduate applicants).

Offered Benefits

Recipients will receive 15% of UTS tuition fees for the standard duration of their enrolled course.

Application Process

  • No separate scholarship application is required.

  • All eligible students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UTS will be automatically considered.
