UR Circle of Scholars Entrance funding for International Students in Canada Established in 1911, University of Regina is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Regina (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Regina (U of R) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Regina (U of R) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 108 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Canadian higher education organization a least selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Offered Benefits

  • The bursary of amount $5,000 is available to the top three students in three specific regions identified annually throughout the world.
  • In addition to the financial assistance, these students will be invited to meet with the President of the university each year for a Circle of Scholars event.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: For being considered, students are required to take admission in the bachelor’s degree program at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: The university may ask you for high School Transcript and General Secondary Certificate, and Copy of your passport and mail it to  [email protected]
  • Admission Requirements: Students must hold a high school degree certificate.
  • Language Requirement: Candidates are required to provide evidence of their English language proficiency.
