The University of Queensland is proud to announce its Firebirds Undergraduate Scholarships in Australia for the academic session 2020/21. The funding opportunity is open for international students.

The goal of the program programme is to encourage and support excellent students who have demonstrated a passion for netball.

UQ Firebirds undergraduate financial aid for International Students in Australia, 2020 for Bachelor Founded in 1909, The University of Queensland is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized town of St Lucia (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Queensland. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree coursework in all study areas offered by the university.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Completed year 12 in the year prior to award.
  • Intends to enrol as a commencing student in an Approved Program in the year of the award.
  • Can demonstrate they have played netball for school or a club or contributed to the sport of netball through coaching or volunteering within the previous 2 year period.

Offered Benefits

The University of Queensland will provide the following benefits:

  • Up to four scholarships may be awarded annually on the recommendation of the Chair.
  • The value of The grant is $5,000.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: If you want to be enlisted in this educational program, then you are recommended to take admission in the undergraduate degree coursework at the University of Queensland. After being registered, you must have to submit a completed application with the following supporting documents.
  • Supporting Documents: Must submit degree certificates, academic transcripts, and CV with your application.
  • Admission Requirements: financial aid positions will be awarded on the basis of the academic achievement in years 11 and 12; achievements and commitment to the netball community; leadership achievements and capabilities; and demonstrated financial need.
  • Language Requirement: If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency. For more information go through the English language requirements page.
