UQ Economics Vietnam Scholarship in Australia, 2020 Founded in 1909, The University of Queensland is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized town of St Lucia (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Queensland. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Herston, Gatton. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, The University of Queensland (UQ) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of Queensland (UQ) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.   • Eligible Countries: Vietnam
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Honours) and Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours), Master of Advanced Economics, Masters by Coursework Programs for Economics.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Citizens of Vietnam, who normally reside in Vietnam and are not already undertaking any studies in Australia. Those studying English in Australia are still eligible to apply.
  • Must not simultaneously hold another funding for tuition fees.
  • Students who have received an offer and who are commencing students at UQ.

Offered Benefits

The University of Queensland will cover up to 50% of the tuition fees for excellent students who want to commence undergraduate and postgraduate coursework.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for the opportunity , candidates are recommended to take admission in the undergraduate and postgraduate degree program at the University of Queensland. After receiving a letter of offer from the university, candidates must complete and submit an online application form.
  • Supporting Documents: Must submit a CV/resume, personal/motivational statement (this statement should be no more than 1,000 words and address), and one reference letter in English.
  • Admission Requirements: Candidates will be selected on the basis of academic excellence.
  • Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, you should provide evidence of English language ability: IELTS, TOEFL, or other acceptable proof. Please see the English Language Requirements section for more details.
