The University of Wollongong (UOW) and University of Surrey (UoS) are offering a joint PhD scholarship focusing on the molecular mechanisms of TAR DNA-binding protein 43 (TDP-43) proteinopathies. This scholarship provides a stipend of no less than AUD $34,000, indexed annually, and a fee waiver for 3.5 years.
Eligible candidates must hold a 1st class Honours or equivalent, or a Masters by Research degree, and demonstrate preparedness for doctoral research, alignment with career aims, recognition and achievements, and relevant professional experience. International candidates must meet English proficiency requirements.
