University of York David Efird Student Prize in UK for Course Established in 1963, The University of York is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of York (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Yorkshire and the Humber. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, The University of York is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of York offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 56 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: International (including EU) and UK (home) students
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in the Department of Philosophy and submit work on the designated areas of focus as part of their studies.

Application Process

Interested candidates must take admission in a graduate degree program at the university. Applicants are automatically considered for the David Efird Student Prize upon submission of relevant coursework; no separate application process is required. There is no separate application process to complete.
