University of Wollongong Academic Excellence Scholarship 2026 for Master Founded in 1975, University of Wollongong is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Wollongong (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), New South Wales. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Dubai, Shoalhaven, Loftus, Moss Vale, Bega, Batemans Bay, Liverpool. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, University of Wollongong (UOW) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Wollongong (UOW) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 44 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship students must;

  1. be an international student 
  2. enrol in a UOW Master's (Coursework) degree at an Australian campuses in 2026. The following degrees are not eligible: Master of Psychology (Clinical), Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, Master of Teaching (Primary and Secondary), Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, Master of Social Work (Qualifying), Doctor of Medicine
  3. have outstanding academic results (75+ WAM or equivalent)
  4. students must not be receiving any other scholarship, sponsorship, bursary, or discount (excluding stipend scholarships) for the same course.
  5. maintain a minimum cumulative Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50
  6. students who transfer will no longer be eligible for the scholarship

No application is required. Students will automatically be considered for this scholarship after they must have applied to study in the school.
