The University of Valencia and AUIP are offering 14 scholarships for Latin American students to pursue official Master’s degrees in the 2025-2026 academic year! This amazing opportunity covers tuition, accommodation, meals, and includes a €2,500 stipend.

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must be graduates of Latin American universities that are members of the AUIP and must be newly admitted students to UV’s official Master’s programs.

University of Valencia AUIP Scholarships in Spain for Master Founded in 1499, Universitat de València (University of Valencia) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Valencia (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Valencian Community. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Burjasot-Paterna. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional, España (Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Spain), Universitat de València (UV) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universitat de València (UV) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Latin American countries with universities affiliated to AUIP

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any official Master’s program offered by the University of Valencia

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Hold a university degree from an AUIP-affiliated institution in Latin America

    • Be a new student at the University of Valencia

    • Not have resided in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years from the date of the call

    • Fulfill both the general admission requirements for Spanish Master’s degrees and specific academic criteria for the chosen Master’s program

    • Have a minimum grade point average of 8 out of 10 (certified according to Spanish equivalency standards)

    • Not have received this scholarship in the 2024-2025 academic year

    • For renewal applicants: must have studied in the 2024-2025 academic year in one of the following UV Master’s programs: Development Cooperation or Gender and Equality Policies, and have been an AUIP scholarship recipient during that period.

Offered Benefits

  • Tuition fees: Coverage for up to 60 ECTS credits (excludes administrative or other institutional fees)

  • Financial aid: €2,500 paid in two installments to the student’s Spanish bank account

  • Accommodation: Full-board lodging and meals at a designated university residence for the entire academic year

Publication of Call: March 20th, 2025 on UV’s notice board and the DOGV

Application Process

  • Register as a user at AUIP Scholarship Platform

  • Confirm registration via the email sent by the system

  • Complete the application by following the platform instructions

  • Applicants for new scholarships must upload all required documents as outlined in the Rules and Regulations

  • Renewal applicants only need to submit the application form without additional documentation
