The University of Tasmania Business Scholarship is offered by TSBE to encourage high performing international students from Indonesia, Latin America, Malaysia/Singapore and Vietnam to study at the University of Tasmania.

Four (4) scholarships are available for Semester 1 or 2, 2020.

TSBE offers a curriculum that is driven by leading-edge research in business and economics, and the future needs of business, industry and professional bodies. TSBE’s curriculum is delivered using contemporary teaching approaches and offers a range of authentic work integrated learning experience with a strong grounding in modern business practices.

University of Tasmania Business funding for International Students in Australia for Bachelor Founded in 1890, University of Tasmania is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Hobart (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Tasmania. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Launceston, Burnie. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, University of Tasmania (UTAS) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Tasmania (UTAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 129 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Australian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

International students from Indonesia, Latin America, Malaysia/Singapore, and Vietnam.

Undergraduate, honors and a postgraduate degree in Professional Accounting.

The applicant has an offer of a full-time place in an onshore TSBE undergraduate, honors or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Master of Professional Accounting and Master of Professional Accounting Specializations), commencing in Semester 1 or 2, 2020.

Available to high achieving international students from Indonesia, Latin America, Malaysia/Singapore and Vietnam who have an offer of a full-time place in an onshore TSBE undergraduate, honours or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Master of Professional Accounting and Master of Professional Accounting Specialisation), commencing in Semester 1 or 2, 2020.

Selection will be based on academic merit and the quality of the applicant’s 500-word application response.

The University of Tasmania Business Scholarship cannot be taken with any other scholarship or bursary.

Offered Benefits

For single degree programs, each scholarship covers 100% of registered tuition fees for the duration of the course or, For combined degree programs, each scholarship covers 50% of registered tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Application Process

In the event to grasp this bursary, aspirants are recommended to take admission in the undergraduate, honors and postgraduate degree coursework at the university. After taking affirmation, claimants can download and submit the award application form to international.scholarships@utas.edu.au.

Must attach the statement of personal information, a written response of approximately 500 words detailing: How will your Business or Economics degree at the University of Tasmania guarantee your future and how will you use your qualification in the future?

All students wishing to study at the University Tasmania (UTAS) must meet the minimum academic entry requirements.

For those seekers who are nationals of and currently residing in a country where English is NOT the official language, evidence of an accepted English language test must be provided such as IELTS, TOEFL or PTE.
