  • Eligible Countries: All international students are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply to any full-time undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, or postgraduate  research degree at the University of Sydney.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants should hold an Undergraduate Honours degree (First Class) or a First Class Honours Equivalent Undergraduate Degree or a Master’s degree with a substantial research component in a related social science field such as Indonesian Studies, Policy Studies, Public Health, Sociology, Law, or Asian Studies.
  • Applicants who hold an undergraduate degree and have relevant research and professional experience may also be considered.
  • Applicants must be willing to conduct research opioid use in Indonesia and related policy concerns with Dr Elisabeth Kramer and Professor Simon Butt.

Offered Benefits

The scholars will receive a $35, 950 p.a. (up to 3.5 years) tuition fee for the duration of their course at the University of Sydney.

  • A personal statement that outlines interest in this area of research and details relevant academic and/or professional experience that is relevant to the research project,
