The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde is offering the Glasgow 850 International Masters Scholarships for January 2026 entry.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be self-funded international (non-EU) students holding an offer to study a full-time postgraduate taught program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde starting in January 2026.

University of Strathclyde Glasgow 850 International Masters Scholarships in UK Founded in 1964, University of Strathclyde is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Glasgow (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Scotland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Strathclyde is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Strathclyde offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All international (non-EU) students.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is available for full-time postgraduate taught programs in the following subjects:
    Aeronautical Engineering, Architecture, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Design Manufacture & Engineering Management, Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Naval Architecture Ocean & Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Product Design, Prosthetics & Orthotics, Renewable Energy.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Hold an offer to study a full-time postgraduate taught program in the Faculty of Engineering starting January 2026.

    • Be self-funded and paying international (non-EU) fees.

    • Pay the required deposit to have the scholarship details added to their student record.

    • Not be fully sponsored by a government or embassy.

    • Students on two-year MSc programs will receive £5,000 per year.

    • Only one University of Strathclyde scholarship can be awarded per academic year.

    • Scholarships cannot be deferred or transferred to other entry points.

Offered Benefits

  • A £5,000 reduction in tuition fees for eligible international students.

  • Students on two-year MSc courses will receive £5,000 for each year of study.

Application Process
