Winchester School of Art at the University of Southampton is offering postgraduate taught scholarships. These scholarships are open to UK, EU and international students for 2017 entry.
The University of Southampton is a public research university located in Southampton, England. The origins of the university date back to the founding of the Hartley Institution in 1862 following a legacy to the Corporation of Southampton by Henry Robinson Hartley.

Eligibility Criteria
Progression Scholarship: University is pleased to offer Winchester School of Art Graduates progressing directly from a Bachelors degree to a Masters degree at the School in 2017 either a £2,500 or £1,500 Scholarship towards the cost of their tuition fees.
UK/EU Postgraduate Taught Scholarship: These competitive Scholarships are available to all UK/EU students who have been offered a place on one of the School’s Masters programmes.
Postgraduate International Taught Scholarship: The Postgraduate International Taught Scholarship is available to students from outside the European Union (With the exception of mainland China).
Postgraduate Taught Talent Scholarship: The Postgraduate Taught Talent Scholarship is available for up to 3 students from Africa, Middle East, South America and India who excel in their field.
International Ambassador Scholarship: The International Ambassador Scholarship is available for up to 4 students from Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Norway. This Scholarship recognises outstanding students who wish to act as an ambassador for the School.
Offered Benefits
Progression Scholarship: Students who achieve a 2:1 in their Bachelor’s degree will receive a £2,500 Progression Scholarship and students who achieve a 2:2 will receive a £1,500 Scholarship.
UK/EU Postgraduate Taught Scholarship: The Scholarship consists of a £2,000 tuition fee reduction at enrolment and £3,000 living expense allowance paid in 4 quarters: October, 1 February, 1 April and 1 July (Or the next working day if the date falls on a weekend, University closure day or Bank Holiday)
Postgraduate International Taught Scholarship: University is offering Scholarships of £2,000 and £1,000 to students who have been offered a place on one of the School’s Masters programmes starting in September 2017. This Scholarship will be in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
Postgraduate Taught Talent Scholarship: The value of scholarship is £6,000
International Ambassador Scholarship: The value of scholarship is £5,000
