The Kathryn Huget Leadership Award was created to support students who are working to improve the role of leadership in business and specifically the advancement of women in leadership roles.

University of Regina Kathryn Huget Leadership Award 2025 Established in 1911, University of Regina is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Regina (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Regina (U of R) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:  

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident or on a Canadian student visa. 
  • Be studying at the Master’s or PhD level. 
  • Preferably be studying in the areas of organizational behaviour, business administration, business and commerce, sociology or psychology. 
  • Provide a brief summary of their involvement in business and leadership, and how they are working to improve the business workplace for women.
  • Provide one letter from a business reference.

Preference will be given to women currently in leadership roles.

Offered Benefits

$1,000, applied directly to tuition will be awarded to the recipient of the award
