Applications are now open for the University of Regina Edgar A. Wahn Scholarship 2025. The scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to two full-time graduate students pursuing environmental research.

Edgar A. Wahn Scholarship 2026 at University of Regina Established in 1911, University of Regina is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Regina (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Regina (U of R) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Regina (U of R) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 108 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Canadian higher education organization a least selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible applicants would normally include, but not necessarily be limited to, students in biology, chemistry & biochemistry, geography, geology, and environmental systems engineering;
  • Full-time student pursuing environmental research; and
  • Must have a Cumulative Graduate point Average (CGPA) of 90%.
