Howatt Scholarship 2025 for Master Established in 1969, University of Prince Edward Island is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium-sized town of Charlottetown (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Prince Edward Island. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Workforce and Advanced Learning, Prince Edward Island, University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Program Application: Candidates must have applied for admission to the Executive MBA Program at UPEI.
  • Application Deadline: The application for the Executive MBA Program must be submitted by June 30 of the year they intend to start the program.
  • Program Start Date: Candidates must intend to begin the Executive MBA program in September of the same year.
  • Financial Support Cap: Candidates are not eligible for this scholarship if they are receiving financial support from an employer and/or other graduate student awards that, when combined, exceed 50% of the program's total tuition and fees.

Application Process

  1. Apply for admission to the Executive MBA Program by June 30th. This is the primary and essential step, as applying to the EMBA program automatically puts you into consideration for the scholarship.
  2. Ensure your EMBA application includes:
    • Your resume
    • Transcripts
    • Letters of reference
    • A personal statement
  3. Within your personal statement, specifically address the scholarship's selection criteria:
    • Academic record
    • Professional accomplishments
    • Demonstrated leadership ability

There isn't a separate scholarship application form; your application to the UPEI Executive MBA Program serves as your application for the scholarship.
