The University of Oslo is seeking a talented researcher for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mathematics, beginning February 2026. The position is linked to the NASTRAN research project, which investigates the mathematical foundations of stochastic transport phenomena. Ideal candidates will have a PhD and expertise in nonlinear PDEs, stochastic analysis, or numerical modeling.
Applicants must hold (or be near completing) a PhD in mathematics, applied mathematics, or a related field. They should have a strong background in one or more areas such as nonlinear PDEs, stochastic PDEs, or numerical analysis, along with excellent English communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
