The University of Nottingham is now offering Kazakhstan’s Postgraduate Scholarship to high achieving students for the academic year 2022/2023.

The Bolashaq Programme provides fully funded funding for high-achieving students from Kazakhstan to study masters or PhD courses at selected universities in other countries before returning to work in Kazakhstan.

University of Nottingham Kazakhstan’s Postgraduate Scholarship, UK for Master Established in 1948, The University of Nottingham is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Nottingham (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Midlands. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Kazakhstan
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Postgraduate Degree program in any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Are classed as an international (non-UK or EU) student for fee purposes AND
  • Hold, or are predicted to achieve, the UK equivalent of a high 2:1 in undergraduate studies – these students will be considered for a 50% scholarship until we reach our funding limit
  • Hold, or are predicted to achieve, the equivalent of a first-class degree – these students will be considered for a funding for Excellence which will provide either a 75% or 100% scholarship until we reach our funding limit

Application Process

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for the grant, applicants must need to take admission in a postgraduate degree at the university. Thereafter, they should apply through theonline portal for this opportunity.
  • Supporting Documents: Transcripts, letter of recommendation, qualification certificates, an essay (if require), and English certification.
  • Admission Requirements: When you come to study at Nottingham, applicants need to check the entry requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: If you are an international student, you should also check the information about the English language requirements.
