University of Nottingham Full Masters Scholarships For African Students Established in 1948, The University of Nottingham is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Nottingham (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Midlands. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Derby, Sutton Bonington, Lincoln, Semenyih. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, The University of Nottingham is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of Nottingham offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 71 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

You can apply for the Developing Solutions scholarship if you:

  • are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Africa, India or one of the countries of the Commonwealth listed below AND
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
  • have not already studied outside of your home country AND
  • are not currently studying at a University of Nottingham campus or are not a University of Nottingham graduate AND
  • already hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme, including MRes, at Nottingham for September 2022 in an area of study within the:
    • Faculty of Engineering,
    • Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences,
    • Faculty of Science,
    • Faculty of Social Science
  • Priority is given to candidates who have not previously studied outside of their home country. Students currently studying in the UK are not eligible to apply.

Offered Benefits

You may be offered a scholarship of either 50% or 100% of tuition fees. We will contact you in early July 2022 to confirm the outcome of your application.

Go to University of Nottingham on www.nottingham.ac.uk to apply

You must apply for and receive an offer to study a full-time masters (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham before applying for this scholarship.  Search for courses and find out  how to apply.

When you have received your offer to study with us, you can apply through the scholarships section of our application system,  NottinghamHub.
