The University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) is offering a PhD Scholarship in Number Theory for highly qualified candidates. Working with Associate Professor Alina Ostafe, the successful applicant will explore mathematical research areas including Diophantine problems and arithmetic structures.
To be eligible, applicants must hold an honours or master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics with an overall GPA of at least 90%. They should have a strong background in algebra and number theory, supported by relevant coursework and a research thesis.
