The University of Moratuwa is pleased to offer its Scholarships for the academic year 2020-2021. There are two scholarships available through financial support from Millennium Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd (MIT).

The program is available for only Sri Lanka students. These opportunities are funded through industry collaborations.

The university is providing expert services to the State, Industry and the Society as an internationally positioned Sri Lankan University. They are contributing to the sustainable, scientific, technological, social and economic development of Sri Lanka.

University of Moratuwa Grants

University of Moratuwa Scholarships in Sri Lanka, 2020 for Bachelor Founded in 1978, University of Moratuwa is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Moratuwa (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Western Province. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka, University of Moratuwa is a coeducational higher education institution. University of Moratuwa offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries: Sri Lanka students are eligible to apply.
Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded to study in undergraduate degree programs offered by the university.
Admissible Criteria: While the students will be formally informed about these endowments at the beginning of semester 5, you must speak to your semester coordinator or the head of the department if you have any financial problems with regard to your studies.

Application Process

  • How to apply: To participate, the applicants need to take admission to the university. After taking admission applicants must automatically consider for this application program.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must have all previous academic transcripts, certificates to apply for this study grant.
  • Language Requirement: Applicant’s English Level is one of the most important requirements for joining the University.
  • Benefit: Applicants will be receiving various award amounts by applying for this application grant. This is a scholarship scheme within the CSE department to help students with financial needs.
