The University of Minnesota Rochester is pleased to offer the Academic Achievement Scholarship to support and reward students with strong academic records. All admitted students are automatically considered based on their GPA at the time of admission. Awards range from $1,000 to $3,000 and are granted to both first-year and transfer students.

Students must be admitted to the University of Minnesota Rochester with an unweighted high school GPA of at least 3.0 or a transfer cumulative GPA of at least 2.8.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following GPA requirements at the point of admission:

    • High School GPA of 3.80 – 4.0 or Transfer Cumulative GPA of 3.7 – 4.0: $3,000

    • High School GPA of 3.50 – 3.79 or Transfer Cumulative GPA of 3.3 – 3.6: $2,000

    • High School GPA of 3.0 – 3.49 or Transfer Cumulative GPA of 2.8 – 3.2: $1,000
