The Discovery Scholarship is a pre-academic scholarship for the Intensive English Institute for ESL or conditionally admitted students. The funded program will help candidates in their studies by providing them with an award of US $2,000 per academic year.
Application Process
Applicants are considered for this scholarship when their application for admission is reviewed. No additional application is required.
All eligible candidates will automatically be considered when they will apply for undergraduate admission at the UMaine. Candidates need to submit their language ability proof, curriculum vitae, and copy of their transcripts or degree certificate. For a bachelor’s degree program, the participants need to check all the entry requirements. If the participant’s national language is not English, then they have to show the English language ability by taking the TOEFL or IELTS test.
