The University of London and Canon Collins Trust are providing an excellent opportunity for South African Students through the Distance Learning Scholarships programme for the year 2021/2022.

This programme is open to talented candidates who want to study postgraduate, diploma and Masters of Law (LLB) at the University of London.

UL and Canon Collins Trust Distance Learning Scholarships for South African Students for Master Founded in 1836, University of London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of London is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of London offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 183 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible country: Applications are accepted from South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, or Congo.
  • Eligible course or subject: Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, and Masters of Law (LLB)
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Must be a national or have refugee status in South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, or Congo
  • Must reside in one of the above countries
  • Must have completed the necessary qualification for admission to the programme
  • Must be currently employed (full time or part-time)
  • Must be able to commit to 10 hours of study per week (minimum)

Offered Benefits

The University of London will select four scholars to receive the award, which cover full tuition fees and exam entry fees.
