University of Leicester 2025 ESPRC Scholarship for International Students for Course Established in 1957, University of Leicester is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Leicester (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Leicester is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Leicester offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 62 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The EPSRC DLA funding is open to UK applicants only.
  • Applicants must have (or expect to obtain) at least the equivalent of a UK first or upper second-class degree in a relevant/related subject, or overseas equivalent.

Offered Benefits

The funding is open to UK applicants only and provides:

  • 4 Year UK fee waiver
  • 4 Year stipend at UKRI rates ( for 2024/5 this will be £19,237 pa. 2025/6 rates to be confirmed)
  • RTSG is £8,500 total per project
