Université Laval’s Faculty of Pharmacy and the Morris and Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation are launching the third edition of the PhD Studentships in Pharmaceutical Sciences - Morris & Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation. This prestigious scholarship is aimed at recruiting the best students from here and elsewhere to enroll in the doctoral program in pharmaceutical sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Laval University.

Morris and Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation PhD Scholarship at University of Laval 2026 Established in 1852, Université Laval (Laval University) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Quebec City (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Quebec. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur, Québec (Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Quebec), Université Laval (UL) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Université Laval (UL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.   • 1 scholarship of $100,000 ($12,500 per session, renewable for a maximum of 8 sessions.)

Application Process

Required Documents:

Any document submitted in a language other than French or English must be accompanied by a certified translation of the original.

  • IDENTIFICATION/SUBMISSION  :  To submit your application, you must authenticate yourself using the personal identification information you received, or will receive, from the Registrar's Office when creating your application file at Université Laval. It may take 48 to 72 hours before you can log in and submit your application. Therefore, you must submit your application no later than January 14, 2026.
  • RESPONDER:  Your referee (research supervisor) will be invited by email to complete a form that will be automatically added to your file. He or she will need to submit the following documents: 
    • FRQS Common Curriculum Vitae;
    • Letter of support to the candidate confirming the commitment as research director (maximum two pages);
    • Statement of vision and positioning of the laboratory in the field (two pages).
