University of Laval Molson Foundation French-speaking immersion scholarship (Winter 2026) Established in 1852, Université Laval (Laval University) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Quebec City (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Quebec. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur, Québec (Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Quebec), Université Laval (UL) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Université Laval (UL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 167 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

Be a person:

  • english-speaking candidate;
  • non-resident of Quebec (not being born in Quebec and not having Quebec resident status);
  • starting studies at Laval University in the winter 2026 session in an eligible program;
  • registered full-time* (or  deemed full-time according to Student Financial Aid) at Laval University throughout the study program for which the scholarship was awarded.

Offered Benefits

  • Several scholarships of varying amounts ($5,000 for a one-year program of study and $10,000 for a degree program of study (payable in two years))

  • Attach a copy of your latest transcript which must include all the results of the diploma obtained (your documents can be in French or English).
  • Attach a copy of your high school transcript.
