University of Kent, Rome Scholarships for Masters Programme Founded in 1965, University of Kent is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Canterbury (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South East England. Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to UK, EU and overseas fee-paying students.
  • Applicants should be on track for a first-class Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, or an equivalent non-UK qualification, or a Master’s degree at merit or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent.
  • Applicants must have formally accepted an offer of a place on one of the following Rome MA programmes starting in September 2016: Ancient History, History of Art, Roman History & Archaeology
  • Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding applicants able to demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, clear intellectual ambition and the potential to make a strong contribution to their chosen MA programme.

A total scholarship fund worth £20,000 is available to applicants.

Application Process

Details of the formal application process for the Rome scholarship fund will be communicated to all applicants who receive a formal offer of a place to study on one of the Rome MA programmes. Submit a formal application online to study one of the Rome MA programmes listed above, starting in September 2017.
