University of Guelph Barrett Family Scholarship in Sustainable Food Engineering 2025 for PhD Established in 1964, University of Guelph is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Guelph (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Ontario. Eligibility Criteria

  • This may include improving packaging, productivity and quality, increasing processing efficiencies, prolonging shelf life, reducing waste, or developing greener technologies.
  • Selection will be based on the strongest research potential and outstanding academic achievement.
  • Students must have applied for admission to a doctoral program in the School of Engineering for the Summer semester or the upcoming Fall or Winter semesters

Application Process

 Apply by August 1st to the School of Engineering Awards Committee   with a research proposal outline (2 pages maximum), 2 letters of reference, and a CV. Students must identify research interests in Sustainable Food Engineering
