The University of Gloucestershire is offering Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship for outstanding international students.

Applicants must be new, self-funded international students paying overseas tuition fees. They must be enrolled full-time in an on-campus postgraduate taught program (excluding PhD, doctoral, or MSc by Research) starting in January 2026 and studying for at least two semesters. Strong academic performance, a creative portfolio, or relevant work experience may be considered.

University of Gloucestershire Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship, UK for Master Founded in 2001, University of Gloucestershire is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Cheltenham (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South West England. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All international (non-UK) countries

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is applicable to any full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught course offered by the university, starting in January 2026.

  • Admissible Criteria:

    • Must be a new, self-funded international tuition fee-paying student.

    • Must be studying full-time on-campus for a minimum of 2 semesters.

    • Must not be applying for a PhD, other doctoral-level qualification, or MSc by Research.

    • Must meet the academic entry requirements for the chosen course.

    • Strong academic record, creative portfolio, or relevant professional experience will be considered.

    • Must accept the scholarship and pay the full advised advanced payment by the CAS deadline.

    • Must not be in receipt of any other University of Gloucestershire scholarship.

    • Must be willing to participate in university marketing and promotional activities.

Application Process

Apply online for the January 2026 intake via the University of Gloucestershire’s application portal. Applications must be submitted by 14 October 2025. An interview may be required as part of the selection process.
