University of Findlay International Scholar Award 2024-2025 for Bachelor Established in 1882, The University of Findlay is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Findlay (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Ohio. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, The University of Findlay is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Methodist religion. The University of Findlay offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 137 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this US higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are expected to meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for the University of Findlay International Scholar Award 2023

  • Applicants must be international students.
  • Students admitted into undergraduate degree program.
  • The award is available for undergraduate students in various courses offered at the University.
  • Other factors such as community service, leadership qualities, and levels of motivation will also be taken into consideration.
  • Students enrolling full time in the Honours program in the semester for which the scholarship is awarded.
  • Exceptional personal success skills (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.)
  • A high school transcript and/or GSE results (if your transcript is not in English, also require a certified translation)
  • English Language Requirement: Applicants are required to provide evidence of meeting the University of Findlay’s minimum English language proficiency requirements.

As part of the application process, candidates are to take admission in the bachelor’s degree program through the  university application portal or  common application at the university. 

And there is not a separate application process to be awarded a scholarship at Findlay. Scholarships are applied automatically as part of the admittance process.
