University of Dundee 2023-2024 Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship for Master


The University of Dundee Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship is available for applications from eligible and outstanding candidates who wish to enrol in a degree program at the University for 2023/2024 academic session

Note: 

Scholarships, bursaries, sponsorships and any other funding / support provided by any party other than UoD are outside the scope of these Terms. Such external funding / support may be subject to conditions and eligibility criteria determined by the awarding external party.

Scholarships which provide living costs will be paid in monthly instalments and are to be paid into a UK Bank account. The UoD cannot issue payments into bank accounts outside the UK.

University of Dundee 2023-2024 Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship for Master Established in 1967, University of Dundee is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Dundee (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Scotland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Dundee is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Dundee offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 52 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for University of Dundee Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

  • Applicants must have submitted an application to study at the University of Dundee for September 2023, and received an Offer for a full-time, on campus Course. Please see our Terms and Conditions for exclusions.
  • Hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.
  • Be currently residing in an African Country as highlighted in the country list (below).

Offered Benefits

University of Dundee is offering scholarships of £5,000 per year of study – up to a maximum value of £25,000 – to applicants living in Africa.
