University Of Debrecen International Scholarship For Developing Countries 2024-2025 for Master Founded in 1912, Debreceni Egyetem (University of Debrecen) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Debrecen (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Hajdu-Bihar. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Nyíregyháza. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Magyar Felsooktatási Akkreditációs Bizottság (Hungarian Accreditation Committee), Debreceni Egyetem (DE) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Debreceni Egyetem (DE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 107 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Applications will not be considered in the following cases:

  • Hungarian citizens (including those with dual citizenships)
  • former Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Holders, who are re-applying for studies in the same cycle of education (non-degree studies, bachelor, master, doctoral level) including both full time and partial study programmes

Visit  https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/

  • Before submitting your application, please read the last year's Call for Application carefully ( stipendiumhungaricum.hu)
  • In case you are interested, contact the sending partner in your country
  • With the help of the application guide, submit all the necessary application documents to the online application system of Tempus Public Foundation (TPF). The application platform will be open from November 2023.
  • Select the University of Debrecen
  • You are entitled to apply to two programs

The following documents need to be submitted during the application procedure by all applicants through our online application platform - that you can reach  here: 

  • Valid, completely filled out application form
  • Certificate of former education (school leaving certificate, high school diploma, document of graduation or any equivalent thereof; university or college diploma/certificate or any equivalent; all of these documents must be available in English (originally in English or officially translated));
  • Passport or National ID
  • Short Resume/CV (personal details, educational background, work experience, language skills, additional skills)

  • Bank receipt certifying the transfer of the application fee of 150 USD (non-refundable) to the university bank account - bank details are available  here
