Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: PhD degree in e.g. geochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must have qualifications corresponding to a master’s degree in a relevant subject area such as geochemistry or chemistry. Other criteria include academic performance, professional qualifications, previous publications, relevant work experience, and language skills.

Offered Benefits

The position is a fixed-term PhD fellowship for a duration of 3 years. The monthly salary starts at approximately 28,900 DKK/Roughly 3,870 EUR (October 2023 level) plus pension. The employment is contingent upon successful enrollment as a PhD student at the Graduate School at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for this funding programme, students must take admission in a PhD programs at the university. After being enrolled, they will complete an online application form for this scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Motivated letter of application
  • CV
  • Master of Science diploma
  • Transcripts
  • Publication list
  • Admission Requirements: Candidates Applicants must hold a master’s degree equivalent to a Danish master’s degree (two years).
  • The PhD study must be completed in accordance with The Ministerial Order on the PhD programme (2013) and the Faculty’s rules on achieving the degree.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT –83
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • CPE/CAE – Passed
