University of British Columbia Rick Hansen Man In Motion Fellowship 2025 Established in 1908, The University of British Columbia is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Vancouver (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), British Columbia. Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to students with a physical disability. The definition of disability is outlined in  UBC Policy LR7, Academic Accommodation of Students with Disabilities, as well as by  UBC Centre for Accessibility. Applicants may or may not be UBC graduate students at the time of application – the competition is open to both incoming and continuing graduate students. However, awardees must be enrolled as full-time graduate students at UBC for the academic year during which the award is active and registered with  UBC Centre for Accessibility in order to receive a Rick Hansen Fellowship through this competition.
