University of Bradford Academic Excellence Scholarships in UK for Bachelor Established in 1966, University of Bradford is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Bradford (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Yorkshire and the Humber. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Bradford (UB) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Bradford (UB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 53 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: EU or UK.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree programme in all full-time undergraduate courses offered by the university.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
    • All Home who achieve AAA or higher in their A Levels or equivalent (from three Level 3 qualifications only. Please be aware we cannot consider Foundation years as equivalent level qualifications for this scholarship ) – a list of all qualifications and their equivalencies is available here:

      • EU qualifications (PDF, 120KB)
    • Being from a low participation area as defined by POLAR 4 in quintile areas 1 and 2 which are the lowest participation areas.

    • Please note, the AAA Scholarship is linked to the grades you achieve, it is not linked to your offer or your UCAS tariff points.

    • Students must be domiciled in the UK
    • EU nationals domiciled in the UK will be considered under this scholarship
    • Students must be commencing on their first, full time undergraduate degree programme in September 2023.
    • If you already hold a degree you cannot be considered for the scholarship.
    • Students who transfer to us from another university will not be eligible for the scholarship unless they transfer into stage 1 of their programme i.e. foundation year or first year.

Offered Benefits

The university will provide benefits for International and domestic students.

  • International students will benefit from a generous scholarship through a £7,500 reduction on their yearly tuition fees.
  • Home students will benefit from a cash bursary of £2,000 (paid in three installments in November, March, and June)

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for this award, students are required to enroll in the undergraduate degree at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: Students must have to attach a CV, personal statement, letter of motivation, and letter of recommendation.
  •  Admission Requirements: Applicants must have a high-school certificate with outstanding academic achievement for taking admission.
  • Language Requirement: In order to study at the university, you need to demonstrate your English language ability through the TOEFL or IELTS test.
