University of Bolton Masters (Taught) Excellence funding for International Students in UK Founded in 2004, University of Bolton is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Bolton (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North West England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Bolton is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Bolton offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 15 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligible Countries: UK, EU and international
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Master degree programme in any field
  • Eligibility Criteria: You will be considered if you fulfil all the given requirements:
  • Must have a First-Class Honours degree from a UK or EU institution
  • Must be studying a full-time 180 credits Master’s course commencing in September 2020 or January 2021 at the University of Bolton.

Offered Benefits

The sponsorship will provide the award worth £1,500 as a tuition fee waiver. The award money will help all successful students pay for their university studies.

  • How to Apply: To receive this funding opportunity, first you will need to take admission in an eligible master course commencing in September 2020 or January 2021 at the university. Once you receive an offer to study, you can apply for this application by completing an application form.   • Supporting Documents: Candidates should provide the following documents: Pre-qualification degree, copies of academic transcripts, certificates of English language proficiency, a statement, and a copy of passport.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must be a holder of a bachelor degree to be eligible to apply for a master programme at the University of Bolton.
  • Language Requirement: The university recognizes the following English qualifications:
  • GCSE/O-Level in English from the UK awarding body grade C
  • IELTS (Academic) 6.0 for Undergraduate (no less than 5.5 in any component)
  • IELTS (Academic) 6.0 for Postgraduate (no less than 5.5 in any component)
  • Irish Leaving Certificate Ordinary Level English grade C/C3 or above
  • Irish Leaving Certificate Higher Level English grade D/D2 or above
  • IGCSE English as a First Language grade C
  • IGCSE English as a Second Language grade C
  • Internet-based TOEFL with an overall score of 72 for Undergraduate, 79 for Postgraduate including 17 in Listening, 20 in Writing, 18 in Reading and 18 in Speaking
  • International Baccalaureate
  • Cambridge Advanced English grade C.
