University of Birmingham Global Scholarships for Master


The College of Medical and Dental Sciences is offering a number of Global Scholarships for Excellence for outstanding students on our postgraduate taught programmes. UK, EU and international students are eligible to apply.

Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

University of Birmingham Global Scholarships for Master Founded in 1900, University of Birmingham is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Birmingham (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Birmingham is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Birmingham offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

This award is open to all applicants who have applied to study on one of the College of Medical and Dental Sciences Masters taught courses listed below (full-time or part-time), or the Physician Associate Postgraduate Diploma programme, starting in 2017/18.

Offered Benefits

The value of each award is £2,000 to be off-set against tuition fees, is tenable for one year only and cannot be deferred to a later year. As the award is to be off-set against tuition fees, applications from self-funding individuals are preferred.

Application Process

Scholarship selection will be based on your programme application. There is no separate application required for the scholarship but candidates should be in receipt of an offer by 31 May 2017. Any admissions application submitted later than six weeks before the scholarship closing date is not guaranteed to be processed in time.
